Oak & Steel is a locally owned craft drinkery that opened in the Crossroads neighborhood in September 2019. The focus is craft beer, with all 24 taps dedicated to constantly rotating independent craft beer. We also have a small curated wine list and over 100 bottles of whiskey to choose from (all served neat or with a whiskey rock; we don’t make cocktails here).
I come to Oak and Steel often. It's the draw of the best tap selection in KC for me. As frequently as I sit down to enjoy a beer here, I stop by just as often to pick up a bottle or can to go because the available selection seems better than what I see at the area retailers...
Great selections, great prices. Aesthetic atmosphere, good location downtown with easy parking. Enjoyed the variety of music they were playing in the background, enjoy the people that work there and other patrons are always happy to strike up a convo if you're feeling chatty.
Best craft beer bar in KC. Always have lots of great taps. Service is friendly and space is simple but pleasant.
Wonderful outdoor patio! Fantastic selection of beer and signage is clear so it’s super easy to find. Street parking is all around, but come a little early on weekends to find a spot!

Really good place if you’re looking for craft beers. They have 24 beers on tap, all independent breweries, and over 100 whisky’s. Good sour beer selection. Highly recommend
